Abstract: This article relates the stories behind longstanding author-narrator collaborations in the audiobook world. According to author David Baldacci, narrator Ron McLarty was able to capture the essence of the Big F character in his book "Last Man Standing" through his voice and inflection. It notes that the partnership formed between author Janet Evanovich and actress Lorelei King was borne out of necessity. It points out that these creative collaborations have evolved into friendship. It cites the benefit of these collaborations to authors.
