| Abstract: | The article presents the authors' comments on the national school curriculum in England. According to the authors, the aims the National Curriculum were to create high standards and coherence in what is taught in schools and to ensure that all children get the opportunity to acquire basic essential knowledge in the key subject disciplines. The author says that Secretary of State for Education Michael Gove set up an advisory committee for the review for the new National Curriculum. |
