Abstract (English): We clarify the typical misconception that some students and teachers have as they believe that in general if they know the exact path of a planet then they can obtain the exact function of the position with respect to time, we devise this analysis based in a short deduction of the path of the planet and the study of the Kepler's equation. We interviewed teachers to find misconceptions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): Se presenta una aclaración al típico error conceptual que se comete al creer que en general conocida la trayectoria exacta de un planeta es posible obtener la función exacta de su posición respecto al tiempo, este análisis se realiza con base en una deducción corta, pero exacta, de la trayectoria del planeta y la exploración de la ecuación de Kepler. La evidencia de tal error se obtuvo a través de un estudio cualitativo de caso con profesores universitarios donde se usó como instrumento una entrevista informal corta. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
