Subject Terms: *Application software, *Statistics education, Statistical sampling software, Central limit theorem, Statistical hypothesis testing, Confidence intervals
Abstract: The article focuses on the application of the computer program Autograph in providing students with excellent illustration of sampling distribution and demonstration of the central limit theorem. It relates that sampling is fundamental in the study of statistics because it provides confidence intervals and hypothesis testing. The article offers a step-by-step instruction in determining the sample distribution of a simplified die having only two numbers distributed on its six faces.
