Abstract: The article presents the author's insights on the development of the picturebook entitled "And Tango Makes Three," by Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell, illustrated by Henry Cole. The author discusses the conversation he had with Richardson and Parnell, in which Richardson says that the controversy arise from people's disingenuous perceptions of the book. The author believes that Richardson and Parnell's "And Tango Makes Three" is a high quality book that is useful for children and parents.
