| Abstract: | The chapter outlines strategies that small organizations at the early, midterm, and seasoned levels of evaluation capacity can cultivate, and offers some practical tips for evaluators on developing and maintaining internal evaluation within a small organization. The author deliberates that as organizational and evaluative skills work in tandem, members of the organization turn to the internal evaluator for support, are proactive in resolving program difficulties, and are open to future evaluations and capacity-building efforts. © Wiley Periodicals, Inc., and the American Evaluation Association.
