Abstract (English): The experience of uncertainty, typically attributed to a lack of knowledge, is central to the study of information behaviour. Uncertainty also arises, however, from real-world indeterminacy that no amount of information can resolve. This paper explores the multiple sources of psychological uncertainty and examines the implications for information behaviour research and practice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
