Abstract: The article focuses on the significance of three Olympic events including discus throw, two hurdle race, and shotput in mathematical modelling. It says that the Olympic event records before 1992 shows that women athletes performs better than males in discuss, but are inferior on shotput and sprint hurdles. It also mentions several mathematical modeling processes set by the School Curriculum and Assessment Authority (SCAA) which include approximation, interpretation, and progressive refinement.
