Abstract: The article examines how schools, universities, and communities can use partnerships to promote health and physical education. According to the authors, partnerships can allow for nonteaching activities in P-12 schools and the creation of joint educational lessons and for building community and university trust. The authors explain the benefits of a P-12 university partnership and mention specific examples of projects and assignments that serve as advocacy resources for the P-12 program.
