Abstract (English): This study evaluated a part of the Elementary Mathematics Curriculum by investigating whether students achieved the objectives of the multiplication sub learning domain from grades 2 to 5. The study was conducted on a total of 998 students attending the 2nd through 5th grades of three elementary schools located in Ankara. The objective achievement level of students was investigated. It was found that the 3rd grade objectives were achievable but the 2nd, 4th and 5th grades involved unachievable objectives in addition to achievable ones. In addition, error analyses performed with semi-structured questions on 18 students from each grade level and 72 students totally showed the various errors in each grade level and grouped them according to their types. Abstract (Turkish): ı Bu çalışmada, İlköğretim Matematik Dersi Öğretim Programının ikinci sınıfından beşinci sınıfına kadar yer alan çarpma alt öğrenme alanına ilişkin kazanımlara öğrencilerin ulaşıp ulaşmadığına bakılarak programın bir kısmı hedefe dayalı değerlendirme modeli ile değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırma, Ankara'da üç ilköğretim okulunun 2-5. sınıflarında toplam 998 öğrenci üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Nicel ve nitel verilerin kullanıldığı çalışmada öğrencilerin kazanımlara ulaşma düzeylerine her sınıf için geliştirilen "Çarpma İşlemi Testi" ile bakılmıştır. 3 sınıf kazanımlarının öğrencilerce ulaşılabilir kazanımlar olduğu ancak 2,4 ve 5.sınıflarda ulaşılabilir kazanımlar yanı sıra ulaşılamayan kazanımların da olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca her sınıf düzeyinde 18, toplam 72 öğrenci ile kazanımlara dayalı sorularla yapılan görüşme sonunda her sınıf düzeyinde öğrencilerin çeşitli hatalar yaptıkları tespit edilmiş ve bu hatalar türlerine göre belirlenmiştir.
