| Abstract: | The article discusses an educational model designed to improve the vocabulary learning of early childhood education students. It notes that the model was framed in terms of decision-making and can be implemented during shared reading lessons. According to the authors, teachers should identify all words in a story that children are unfamiliar with, select a small set of vocabulary words to address, and determine the best teaching methods to support children's vocabulary acquisition.
