| Abstract: | The article offers the author's insights on the use of spatial thinking in teaching science, mathematics, and social studies. The author relates his research together with her colleagues at Northwestern University which reveals that practicing mental rotation contribute to good academic performance. She states that research studies show that improvements in spatial ability contribute to good grades in chemistry and physics. |
