Abstract: In order to ensure educational effectiveness, institutions of higher education carry out program review. Program review gathers and analyzes assessment data with the aim of improving teaching and learning. This paper describes the process of program review at one large university in California, and reports examples of innovative change and improvement change that came about as the result of program review.
