Abstract: There is a growing desire for industry and academia to work more closely together to produce engineering graduates who are ready for today's job market. Many companies are already participating in a number of initiatives, such as collaborative research and development, industrial placements for students, guest lectures and sponsored projects. This paper presents an overview of a strategic partnership between National Instruments and the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Manchester.
