Abstract: The article discusses court case concerning the allegation that a school has violated the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). It states that the U.S. Family Policy Compliance Office (FPCO) found that the school did not violate FERPA as it has the right to destroy educational documents without notifying students or parents. The FPCO adds that test protocols can be considered as educational record if it covers answers to the test questions and students' personal information.
