Abstract: The article reports on the success of a pilot program run at the law firm Seyfarth Shaw which enlisted senior successful partners to coach select junior associates. Topics include the structure of the program, which is fully voluntary and separate from the evaluation process; the success of the program in promoting the job skills and fulfillment of coaches and coachees; and the assistance provided by the Strategic Performance Group, the consulting firm that provided training for the coaches.
