| Abstract: | The article reports on a study that was conducted in the U.S. to identify disparities in family health-related Internet and electronic mail (e-mail) use in general pediatrics setting. It discusses the parents' unequal access to health information technology (HIT) as using such technologies requires money and computer literacy, a survey of parents seeking care for their children that was conducted as part of the study and the use of descriptive statistics in measuring parent's Internet use. |
