The article reports on the expectation for a helicopter used to map nuclear waste at Hanford Site nuclear production complex in Washington to provide detailed map of where radioactive waste and contamination lie in the area. Particular focus is given to the ability of the helicopter to measure levels of radiation and distinguish among types to determine whether it may come from waste containing contaminants. |
