Abstract: This correction notice is for an article titled "Correcting the Permeability Evaluation of Elliptical Rock Fractures in Triaxial Shear-Flow Experiments Considering Channeling Flow" published in the journal Rock Mechanics & Rock Engineering. The correction addresses incorrect information in the highlights section of the original publication. The corrected highlights include the investigation of the effect of channeling flow on permeability evaluation using different aperture fields, the control of the ratio of permeability between elliptical and rectangular models by the salience of channeling flow, and the proposal of a corrected function for accurately calculating the permeability of elliptical fractures in triaxial shear-flow experiments. The original article has been corrected. The publisher, Springer Nature, remains neutral regarding jurisdictional claims and institutional affiliations. [Extracted from the article]
