Abstract: This article focuses on the design and construction of a custom drying rack for stained cedar shingles, created to improve efficiency and portability on job sites. The rack, built primarily from scrap materials including primed birch plywood and fishing line, measures 4 feet wide by 5 feet high by 9 inches deep, and features fishing line "shelves" supported by a sturdy frame with outriggers and caster wheels for stability and mobility.
