| Abstract: | Paleosecular variations of the geomagnetic field in the sediments of Chistoe, Bezymyanka, Gryazevoe, and Grand lakes in the Northern Priokhotye (Magadan oblast) have been studied. It has been revealed that the angles of magnetic inclination vary directionally along the sections within the range of 85°–55°. The intervals of shallow and deep inclination are numbered. 13 and 7 peaks have been established for the Holocene and the Late Pleistocene, respectively. The significance of the established variations for the correlation of Holocene and Late Pleistocene lake sediments has been shown. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
