Abstract: In this article, the authors' present information on the process of arc welding for joining ferritic chrome steels, which are manufactured by means of powder metallurgy. They inform that the size and complexity of the mouldings in this steel are limited because of the pressing technology. They further inform that the metallographic evaluation and the investigation of the joint properties have showed the effectiveness of powder metallurgy.
