| Abstract: | Developed by the state staff in agricultural education, this document provides a guide for teachers of vocational agriculture in development of agricultural occupational employment experience programs. The content includes: (1) Major Purpose and Contributory Objectives, (2) Need for Occupational Experience Programs, (3) Setting of Occupational Experience Programs in Relation to the Student, School, Community, Curricula, and Levels of Instruction, (4) The Balanced Agricultural Production Programs as a Part of the Supervised Occupational Experience Program, (5) Productive Enterprises in the Supervised Occupational Experience Program, (6) Providing On and Off-Farm Agricultural Placement Experiences as a Part of the Supervised Occupational Experience Program, (7) Operating Placement Programs, and (8) Supplemental Contributory Experiences in the Supervised Occupational Experience Program. Included in the appendixes are various checklists, training agreements, survey forms, evaluation forms, labor law summaries, training plans, sample student-learner certificates, and application forms.
