Abstract: This document consists of a sample curriculum model for Kindergarten mathematics based on the 1998 Arkansas State Mathematics Framework. The model is divided into five sections: (1) Number Sense, Properties, and Operations; (2) Geometry and Spatial Sense; (3) Measurement; (4) Data Analysis, Statistics, and Probability; and (5) Patterns, Algebra, and Function. Within each section, the standards are exemplified and articulated by benchmarks, suggested assessments, and possible strategies and activities for teaching the standard. Blackline master checklists are included as appendices. (MM)
