| Abstract: | The Subcommittee on Courts, the Internet, and Intellectual Property, Committee on the Judiciary met, pursuant to call, at 2:15 p.m., in Room 2141, Rayburn House Office Building, to review the consumer benefits of today's digital rights management (DRM) solutions. The Honorable Howard Coble, a Representative in Congress from North Carolina and Chairman of the Subcommittee, presided. Opening statements are provided by the Honorable Howard Coble; the Honorable Howard L. Berman, a Representative in Congress from California, and Ranking Member, Subcommittee on Courts, the Internet, and Intellectual Property; and the Honorable Rick Boucher, a Representative in Congress from Virginia.
