| Abstract: | This project investigates the effectiveness of the Digital Discipleship Model at Zoe Ministries in enhancing online engagement among its predominantly Black congregation. Prompted by the digital divide seen during COVID-19, particularly among older members, the initiative centered on a six-week digital literacy workshop via Zoom and Zoe's Virtual Campus. Focusing on essential digital skills like website navigation, mobile app utilization, live chat, online donations, and web security, the project aimed to equip congregants with the necessary tools for effective online interaction. While digital literacy levels showed improvement with higher test scores, this did not lead to the expected increase in online church participation. These results highlight the need for more targeted engagement strategies and demonstrate the model's role in narrowing the digital gap for the elderly in religious communities.
