| Abstract: | The Indiana Department of Education's (IDOE's) Accessibility and Accommodations Information for Statewide Assessments is intended for school-level personnel and decision-making teams as they prepare for and implement Indiana statewide assessments. Information is provided for school personnel as a reference to inform guidance on accessibility considerations including universal features, designated features, and accommodations for students. The validity of assessment results depends on the utilization of accessibility features and accommodations appropriately for each student. These options include appropriate universal features, designated features, and accommodations, when needed, based on the constructs being measured by the assessment. The following sections are included in this guide: (1) ILEARN, IREAD, and I AM Universal Features ; (2) ILEARN, IREAD, and I AM Designated Features; (3) ILEARN, IREAD, and I AM Accommodations; (4) WIDA Administrative Considerations and Accommodations; (5) Digital SAT School Day Universal Features and Accommodations; (6) Specific Testing Protocol for ILEARN, IREAD, and I AM; (7) Special Circumstances and Nonstandard Accommodations ; (8) Multilingual Features and Accommodations for ILEARN, IREAD, and I AM Assessments; (9) Adaptations and Allowable Supports for ISPROUT and the Indiana Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (IKRA); and (10) Data Upload and Testing Systems. |
