Abstract: The primary goal of this project is to assess the students' improved communication skills after applying five interactive strategies to an experimental group of subjects. This class will be compared with a control group of other participants, and in their class, the interactive approaches are not emphasized and practiced openly. The target students for the experiment and control groups in this project are non-English major freshmen. The students in the experiment group should improve their communication competence more after being directed by interactive strategies designed for this research study, which appropriately emphasize the significance of interaction. This project highlights that EFL learners' proficiency in listening and speaking, which applies in the real world, is imperative. To facilitate students' learning and assist them in making progress in substantial communication and using English in their real lives. The interactive strategies designed in this study are divided into two types: pedagogic and pragmatic models. They are hypothesized to be adequate, competent, and realistic for university students in Taiwan because they encompass both traditional and innovative pedagogical and practical skills, facilitating fluent and appropriate communication. These strategies activate students' English knowledge in the global village. It is suggested that two raters for raising fairness should include one native speaker and one non-native speaker. They make students more familiar with English applications in the real world because they are skills in facilitating English message transmission, expression, and interaction. This practical application of the strategies makes learning more engaging and relevant for the students.
