Abstract: This brief highlights Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District's 2021-2022 implementation of "My Math Academy" with kindergarteners across 16 elementary schools. The district started using the program with pre-kindergarteners in school year 2020-2021, and upon seeing 98 percent of pre-kindergarteners end the school year on track in math on the state-administered CIRCLE Progress Monitoring Assessment System, the district leadership decided to expand the program implementation to kindergarteners in the following school year. This study builds on the existing evidence by demonstrating the effectiveness of the program as measured by the Istation® assessment. Kindergarteners who used "My Math Academy" for at least 30 minutes a week achieved significantly higher on the end-of-year Istation® assessment relative to their peers who spent less time in the program. 9 out of every 10 educators who responded to the survey indicated that "My Math Academy" had a positive impact on helping students catch up in math, while increasing their interest, self-confidence, and enjoyment in learning math.
