Abstract: Previous cross-sectional research and this longitudinal study confirm that there is a statistically significant increase in I-P scores (Greater intellectual orientation) as students progress through a college program. All such studies have been based upon grouped data. It should be noted, however, that while a majority of subjects increased their scores, a significant number did not. (Author)
