Abstract: Informed by Kolb's experiential learning theory and Baxter Magolda's holistic theory of student development, this qualitative study explores the experiences of graduate students in a supervised internship. From an analysis of written assignments completed during the internship experience, our findings reveal abundant meaning-making opportunities for graduate students to gain valuable insights about their personal and professional development, navigating transitions, and application of educational content to real-world settings.
