| Abstract: | This collaborative session explored creative ways to assess civic learning through audience insights and presenter experiences. Following an overview of how George Mason University is advancing civic engagement, the presenters outlined the development of civic engagement student learning outcomes, the scaffolding of civic engagement course designations, and shared initial findings from a civic engagement survey and course evaluations. The session closed with participants actively engaging in co-creating promising practices for elevating civic engagement as an institutional priority. |
