Abstract: Understanding experiences of Indigenous students, especially Indigenous men, is crucial to supporting their academic journeys. In our study, we sought to examine the campus experiences of Indigenous students enrolled in tribal community colleges, focusing on factors associated with their use of academic resources on campus. Using tribal critical race theory, we examined to what extent are tribal community college Indigenous men's personal and academic background, family and friend support, basic needs, and Indigenous cultural belonging associated with the use of academic campus resources (advising, tutoring, and career services). We used a secondary data sample of 479 Indigenous men across 22 tribal community colleges from the Community College Survey of Student Engagement as part of the Tribal Student Success and Completion Project. Findings suggested that there were various salient predictors for each targeted campus academic resource, shedding light on the complexities of factors associated with Indigenous men's resource seeking.
