Abstract: Family celebrations are an important component of preschool programs, helping to establish strong school-to-home partnerships that support children's learning, development, and overall well-being. These events are designed to honor and reflect the diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds of families, fostering inclusive environments where all families feel welcomed, respected, and supported. This article explores how one preschool program embedded culturally responsive family engagement practices into a project-based learning experience to celebrate children's work and deepen home-school connections. Early childhood educators can draw inspiration from this example to implement similar practices that support both academic and social-emotional development.
