| Abstract: | The pitch is a central part of accelerator programs commonly presented with a slide presentation, called pitch deck. This study seeks to understand the ways in which pitch decks are structured. A slide-based approach was taken to describe the structure of 96 pitch decks created at the Start-up Chile accelerator program. Results showed that 7 topics were used in more than half of the pitch decks analyzed (company, team, product, problem, achievements, business model, market) and that certain topics formed sequences that were commonly used across the slide presentations. |
