Abstract: Explored the factor structure of the Quick Discrimination Index (QDI), a measure of discrimination attitudes toward women, with 428 white university students using hierarchical factor analysis. Results support a structure with four first-order factors and one second-order factor. Study 2 tested the original factor structure and the structure from study 1 through confirmatory factor analysis of responses of 363 white students. Discusses implications for QDI interpretation.
