Abstract (English): Reflectance confocal microscopy is an innovative diagnostic method by which it is possible to make an in vivo evaluation of the most superficial layers of the skin with quasi histological resolution. This procedure allows obtaining real-time imaging of dynamic processes, such as erythrocytes flux in cutaneous capillaries. Its greatest importance has been taken in the differentiation of melanocytic lesions with high malignant potential and in the field of research. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): La microscopia confocal de reflectancia es un método diagnóstico innovador por medio del que puede hacerse una evaluación in vivo, con resolución cuasihistológica de los estratos más superficiales de la piel. Este procedimiento nos permite obtener imágenes en tiempo real incluso de procesos dinámicos, como el flujo de eritrocitos en capilares cutáneos. Su mayor importancia la ha tomado en la diferenciación de lesiones melanocíticas con alto potencial de malignidad y en el ámbito de la investigación. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
