Abstract (English): More and more often the child traveling to another country or another state, will be exposed to communicable diseases own place. The number of cases increases exponentially for two reasons: occupational migration of parents and recreational trips kinds of families. This article is an overview of the approach of a feverish child who has this background, considering primarily the incubation period, specific symptoms and signs of which depend on the laboratory tests and cabinet; as well as their specific treatment. Abstract (Spanish): Cada vez con más frecuencia el niño que viaja a otro país o a otro estado, estará expuesto a enfermedades transmisibles propias del lugar. El número de casos se incrementa exponencialmente por dos razones: la migración ocupacional de los padres y los viajes de tipo recreativo de las familias. El presente artículo es una revisión general, del abordaje de un niño febril que tenga este antecedente, considerando primordialmente el periodo de incubación, síntomas y signos específicos de los cuales dependerán los examenes de laboratorio y de gabinete; así como, su tratamiento específico.
