Abstract (English): Nuclear magnetic resonance principle based on the use of radio frequency waves and magnetic fields is the basis of the process of generating three-dimensional magnetic resonance imaging. The advances achieved in this imaging modality have allowed its application to obtain both morphological and functional information of the cardiovascular system. In the present article, the review of such advances and their main applications in cardiology is performed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
