| Abstract (English): | This study was conducted with the overall objective of determining the relationship of psychosocial risk factors and environmental traditional hypertension (HT) and to identify these factors, through the interpretation of the information obtained by the Health Situation Analysis (ASIS) based on clinical, epidemiological and others in the health-disease situation in the parish of the parish La Venta, municipality Miranda, Mérida state, Venezuela, applying descriptive observational cross-sectional methodology, making data analysis through community semiotics. Psychosocial risk factors identified and related to hypertension were low income, unemployment and reduced purchasing power as factors closely related to stress and socioeconomic status in our country, and traditional factors found were alcohol consumption, smoking, obesity, sedentary lifestyle, dyslipidemia and comorbid conditions such as diabetes mellitus, as well as the widespread use of pesticides in most crops in the region, relating this with chronic exposure due to environmental pollution.
