Abstract (English): Disc displacement is one of the most common temporomandibular disorder (TMD) present in about 70% of cases. Some Studies have demostrated which 84% of symptomatic individuals with TMD presented disc displacement and 33% of asymptomatic individuals also presents those alterations. This paper aims to review the literature on the evolution of the treatment of the condyledisk complex disorders, as clinical manifestations until the surgical treatment approaches. In the review and discussion, the clinical aspect, approach diagnostics and the tests from those conservators to the surgicalics was shown. This review was performed on several therapeutic options, noninvasive, minimally invasive or invasive, with their specific precision and eventual impact on the improvement of the patient's condition.
