| Abstract (English): | Anorexia is a psychiatric disorder characterized by an eating disorder in which there is a refusal to eat, associated with changes in the subject's perception of their shape and weight. For psychiatry, it is restricted the phenomenological descriptions. On the other hand, psychoanalysis is interested in the foundations of its emergence and its maintenance as a symptom. The objective of the study was to compare the approach of anorexia in the fields of psychoanalysis and psychiatry by researching articles on the platforms of databases Scielo and Pubmed. Psychoanalysis approaches anorexia through subjective and symbolic aspects, which refer to the unconscious side of the person. In the area of psychiatry, the disease is analyzed from specific physical signs and symptoms, which can be observed through a clinical examination without any subjective analysis. As nervous anorexia is conceptualized in different ways in psychiatry and psychoanalysis, it will have different treatment approaches in each area. In psychiatry, the use of drugs with psychotherapy is associated. On the other hand, in psychoanalysis, the treatment will be centered on the listening of the subject, seeking to identify the mode of joy implied in the symptom. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
| Abstract (Portuguese): | Anorexia é um distúrbio psíquico caracterizado por transtorno alimentar com recusa à alimentação e alteração da percepção do sujeito em relação à sua forma e ao seu peso ponderal. Para a psiquiatria, restringem-se as descrições fenomenológicas, enquanto a psicanálise se interessa nos fundamentos do surgimento da doença e da manutenção dos sintomas. O objetivo do estudo foi realizar uma revisão de literatura comparando a abordagem da anorexia nos campos da psicanálise e da psiquiatria através das bases de dados Scielo e Pubmed. A psicanálise aborda a anorexia por meio de aspectos subjetivos e simbólicos, que remetem à vertente inconsciente do sujeito. Já na área da psiquiatria, a doença é analisada a partir de sinais e sintomas físicos específicos, que podem ser observados a partir do exame físico sem qualquer análise subjetiva. Como a anorexia nervosa é abordada de maneiras diferentes na psiquiatria e na psicanálise, esperam-se abordagens de tratamento diferentes em cada uma dessas áreas. Na psiquiatria, associa-se o uso de fármacos com a psicoterapia. Já na psicanálise, o tratamento se centralizará na escuta do sujeito, buscando identificar o modo de gozo implicado no sintoma.
