In this work, an educational tool for teaching numerical bisection and secant methods through its hardware implementation with an Arduino Due based card is presented. It is an accessible practice for the university level in which students who are not familiar with the programming languages can learn both numerical methods and the Arduino programming language due to its accessibility and simplicity. To verify results and as a means of debugging programs in the Arduino language, a spreadsheet is also used. As a case study, the classic problem of the 4-bar mechanism is revisited from a technological perspective, using a 32-bit microcontroller as a calculation tool. It is expected that development of traditional practices which are reviewed from a technological approach applied to real case studies, will encourage students to develop new prototypes and tangible technological developments by using the software and hardware tools to implement algorithms of numerical methods that solve complex engineering and physics problems. En el presente trabajo se presenta una herramienta educativa para la enseñanza de los métodos numéricos de bisección y secante a través de su implementación en hardware con una tarjeta basada en Arduino Due. Se trata de una práctica accesible para nivel universitario en la cual los estudiantes que no se encuentran familiarizados con los lenguajes de programación pueden aprender paralelamente métodos numéricos y el lenguaje Arduino dado su accesibilidad y sencillez. Para verificar resultados y como un medio de depuración de los programas en lenguaje Arduino además se utilizó una hoja de cálculo. Como caso de estudio se revisita el problema cl ásico del mecanismo de 4 barras desde una perspectiva tecnológica, al utilizar un microcontrolador de 32 bits como herramienta de cálculo. Se espera que el desarrollo de pr ácticas tradicionales que revisitadas desde un enfoque tecnológico aplicado a casos de estudio reales, incentive a los estudiantes a desarrollar nuevos prototipos y desarrollos tecnológicos tangibles al contar con las herramientas de software y hardware para implementar algoritmos de métodos numéricos que resuelvan problemas complejos de física e ingeniería.
