Abstract (English): The article "La Meja, a diva of letters" is a tribute to Lic. María Elena Jiménez Arias, an outstanding figure in the field of writing. María Elena was recognized for her long career in public health and her ability to deliver conferences in an entertaining and fun way. Although she did not manage to publish a book with her important articles, she left a significant legacy in the field of scientific writing. Her ability to propose titles for different works and her competence in evaluating scientific articles are highlighted. Her dedication to the health information center and her influence in the medical community are also mentioned. The text concludes with a farewell and recognition of her legacy. María Elena era reconocida por su larga trayectoria en salud pública y su habilidad para impartir conferencias de manera amena y divertida. Aunque no logró publicar un libro con sus importantes artículos, dejó un legado significativo en el campo de la escritura científica. Se destaca su habilidad para proponer títulos para diferentes obras y su competencia en la evaluación de artículos científicos. También se menciona su dedicación al centro de información de salud y su influencia en la comunidad médica. El texto concluye con un adiós y un reconocimiento a su legado.
