Abstract (English): Introduction: Voluntary interruption of pregnancy (IVE, for its acronym in Spanish) provides an option to motherhood. Rape as grounds for IVE is legal in some countries, which has great psychosocial complexity due to its relationship with sexual violence. The objective of this review is to analyze the norms that regulate IVE in cases of rape in a group of Latin American countries. Methods: For this study, countries with current regulations that allow IVE in cases of rape were selected. A thematic data analysis was carried out, focusing on relevant aspects for effective access to IVE. Results: There are differences in access requirements, such as gestational age limits, need of reporting, evaluation of the story and informed consent. Also, in the organization of services, highlighting the deadlines for carrying out the interruption, the care network, conscientious objection and its regulation. Conclusions: There are substantial differences between countries, there are elements found that can favor or protect access, the visualization of women as subjects of law is key to improve regulations. The questioning of the autonomy of girls and women, restrictive limits of gestational age and conscientious objection stand out. A legal provision is not enough when regulations impose multiple access barriers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): Introducción: La interrupción voluntaria del embarazo (IVE) permite decidir frente a la maternidad. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
