Abstract (English):	The article analyzes the use of antihistamines in the treatment of the common cold. Evidence was found that antihistamines can reduce the duration and intensity of symptoms, but there are no curative treatments for this disease. Two studies evaluating the effectiveness of antihistamines in combination with other medications are mentioned, concluding that they may have general benefits in reducing symptoms, although individual effects are modest. The need for more studies to evaluate the differences between antihistamines and common analgesia is highlighted. [Extracted from the article]
Abstract (Spanish):	El artículo analiza el uso de antihistamínicos en el tratamiento del resfriado común. Se encontraron evidencias de que los antihistamínicos pueden reducir la duración e intensidad de los síntomas, pero no existen tratamientos curativos para esta enfermedad. Se mencionan dos estudios que evalúan la eficacia de los antihistamínicos en combinación con otros medicamentos, concluyendo que pueden tener beneficios generales en la reducción de los síntomas, aunque los efectos individuales son modestos.
