Abstract (English): The objective of this research is to identify the effects of the language regulatory function in the formation of voluntary activity for dialogic communication and social behavior in a group of 16 preschool children from 5 to 6 years. The formative experimental method was used in the thematic social role-play with a pre-test and post-test evaluation, analyzing the changes during the intervention. It is concluded that in the thematic social role-play the regulatory function of language has an important role in the development of voluntary activity and impacts the emotional, cognitive, social behavior and dialogic communication of children. Likewise, the thematic social role-play promotes initiative in children's actions and makes them more complex by positively impacting cognitive and affective aspects. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
