Abstract (English): Objective: To analyze the scientific literature on the impact of oral health education programs for children and adolescents. Methods: In terms of the research question, we used the model Population - children and adolescents; Concept - education; and Context - oral health. This review verified studies on oral health education of children and adolescents from 2019 to 2022, in the Pubmed and Web of Science databases. Inclusion criteria were in vivo experimental and epidemiological studies. Exclusion criteria were studies in children with special needs and in vitro, qualitative studies, case reports, case series, review studies, study protocols, and conference abstracts. Studies were checked for duplication in Rayyan software. Results: The search in the databases returned 1350 references (Pubmed=275; Web of Science=1075), including 40 articles. All studies reported an improvement after the application of oral health education programs, regardless of the methodology (face-to-face or technology-guided mode). Based on this result, motivating activities were created online through explanatory videos, on the topics: dental caries, tooth brushing, and the importance of fluoride for oral health, aiming at future research. Conclusion: Both face-to-face and technology-guided oral health education programs had a positive impact on the oral health knowledge of children and adolescents. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
