Abstract (English): The film The Wheelchair (1960) by Azcona and Ferreri, is one of the most referenced works in historical research of Spanish cinema, among other issues, due to its critical and social nature, very significant in the dictatorial context. Furthermore, the few authors who have reflected on disability in the Spanish cinema, have dedicated special interest to it, highlighting its particularity in a cinematographic environment that was flat, stereotyped and oppressive in the treatment of this theme. In this contribution we reflect on this particularity, placing it in its filmic and social context. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
