Abstract (English): The editorial article of the Medicina UPB magazine presents eight articles that address various health topics. Highlights include research on cardiovascular health in post-COVID-19 patients, visual health in different age groups, and the surgical management of breast cancer in men. Topics such as the use of telemedicine in high-risk obstetric patients and psychosocial determinants in the prevention of cervical cancer are also discussed. The case report addresses the association of mesenteric ischemia and granulomatosis with polyangiitis. [Extracted from the article]
Abstract (Spanish): El artículo editorial de la revista Medicina UPB presenta ocho artículos que abordan temas de salud variados. Destacan investigaciones sobre salud cardiovascular en pacientes post-COVID-19, salud visual en diferentes grupos etarios, y el manejo quirúrgico del cáncer de mama en hombres. También se discuten temas como el uso de la telemedicina en pacientes obstétricos de alto riesgo y los determinantes psicosociales en la prevención del cáncer de cuello uterino. El reporte de caso aborda la asociación de isquemia mesentérica y granulomatosis con poliangitis. [Extracted from the article]
